Compliance status
Based on the checks carried out, the service is partially compliant with the applicable accessibility requirements.
The assessment covered the pages and features described in the "Preparation of this statement" section. The checkout process and some features of the service have not yet undergone a complete manual check.
Known limitations and areas not yet checked are described in the following sections. The assessment will be updated as further checks and corrective measures are carried out.
Non-accessible content
On the pages checked (homepage, collection page, product page and cart), the barriers found were fixed on 12 October 2026. The known limitations listed below remain; the areas not yet checked are listed in the "Preparation of this statement" section.
Payment process (Shopify checkout). The checkout is provided by the Shopify platform and cannot be customised by the service provider. According to the conformance report published by Shopify (March 2026), some features only partially meet WCAG 2.2 Level AA criteria:
- some text, field borders and focus indicators have insufficient contrast or are hard to see;
- in some steps the keyboard navigation order does not match the visual order, and address suggestions are hard to reach with a screen reader;
- some error messages may not be announced immediately;
- third-party payment buttons (PayPal, Amazon Pay) may present barriers;
- at very high zoom levels some field labels may be partially hidden.
Shopify's report is a reference for the platform and does not replace a check of the Transit purchase process, which is planned as described in the "Preparation of this statement" section. Anyone who has difficulty completing a purchase can write to the address given under "Feedback and contact" and will receive help completing the order.
How the service meets the requirements
The following measures describe the accessibility aspects checked on the pages within the scope of the assessment. They do not constitute a statement that all features of the service have been fully checked.
- Page language declared and a "Skip to content" link at the top of each page.
- One main heading per page and headings in a logical order.
- Text contrast of at least 4.5:1 for normal text and 3:1 for large text, checked with automated tests.
- Descriptive alternative text, written for the purpose of each image, for product photos, cart thumbnails and homepage banners.
- Keyboard navigation with a visible focus indicator, checked on the main paths: menu, language and country selector, size selection, add to cart and cart. On mobile devices the menu and filters can be closed with the Esc key.
- Accessible labels on the logo, menu and cart icons, and language and country selectors.
- Selected and sold out sizes are also announced to assistive technologies.
- Target size of at least 24 by 24 pixels (WCAG 2.2, criterion 2.5.8), measured on size selectors and slider controls.
Screen reader tests have not yet been carried out; they are planned as described in the "Preparation of this statement" section.
Preparation of this statement
This statement was prepared on 12 October 2026 on the basis of an assessment carried out by Studio Mirari, e-commerce consultant to TAM & Company S.p.A.
The assessment covered the Italian, English, German and French versions of the site and included the homepage, a collection page, a product page and the cart. Automated tests with axe and manual keyboard checks were used, with reference to WCAG 2.1 and WCAG 2.2 Level AA criteria, within the limits of the checks performed.
Technical reference: requirements of the harmonised standard EN 301 549, which refers to WCAG 2.1 Level AA for web content.
The barriers identified within the tested scope were fixed on 12 October 2026.
Search, collection filters, the customer account and the complete purchase process have not yet been fully checked. Manual screen reader checks are also planned by 12 April 2027.
This statement will be updated following further checks and corrective measures, and whenever substantial changes are made that may affect the accessibility of the service.
Next scheduled review: 12 April 2027.
